Thank You!

Thank you for your time and interest in the COCOA Experiment.

If you’re looking to take the survey, the limit (250) has already been reached! We’re no longer collecting answers, and we hope to have the results up here soon.

If you’ve already taken it, your answers may help charities such as these to better understand the decision making process of (and how to attract more) donors like you.

When preliminary results are ready, they will be posted at this website.

If you would like to learn more about each charity on the survey, please view their website below:

You can still do more! The COCOA Experiment needs more caring people like you to take the survey. Please go to the front page and use the “Spread the word” button at the bottom of the page to send this page to others. It’ll let you email, facebook, tweet, and even text message your friends!

Not eligible? Don’t worry. It’s not personal. Check out the FAQ to learn more.

PS – Since I’ve gotten so many emails asking about the eligibility criteria of the survey, here we go. To be eligible, you had to meet four requirements.

1) Between the ages of 18 and 55.1
2) Earn between $20,000 to $150,000 last year.2
3) Given to a charity or volunteered at an organization at least one time in the last 12 months.3
4) Be a United States resident.

See? As promised in the FAQ, your eligibility had nothing to do with sexual orientation, religious affiliation or political leaning.

  1. Typical working age in America. []
  2. People who make less or more have different giving patterns–for example, the very rich often just give in a lump sum at the end of the year. The majority of the population rests in this range. []
  3. It’s hard to study patterns of charitable giving on people who don’t give. []
